Metronaut 2

Running behind schedule on this massively but most of that was due to the centre piece in the middle of the page. The first thing that shows is that this was clearly my first attempt at drawing an escalator (the scale and proportions of which are kind of all over the place).

I had to go to town with a drawing compass to try and get the tunnel effect working properly. That ended up looking like something from a Steranko comic or The Avengers (the Steed & Peel version) and kept up the theme of giving each page in this comic a unique composition.

The whole Metronaut leaping down the page and swinging back and forth is a tribute to Simon Fraser's work on Nikolai Dante which often featured amazing spreads of Dante flinging himself across future Russia.
